Modest bed

Modest takes a dressed down approach to traditional beds by returning to their purest form, embracing simplicity and grace. It’s natural beech wood parts, with smooth, rounded edges, exude a warm and inviting aura.

Rid of common technical components, Modest effortlessly comes apart and reassembles with just a few bolts, time and again. The pieces fit together seamlessly, making the assembly process as soothing as the object itself.

The intentionally understated details work together to provide a sense of balance and calm, turning the bedroom into a retreat to restore and recharge. The design of Modest is not just about aesthetics, it’s about creating a peaceful sanctuary.

Created with intent

With a wide field of possibilities, Justin began by looking closely at the world around the people the bed was made for. Research helped uncover what truly mattered, gradually giving the design a clear direction.

From there, personal intuition, a distinct aesthetic vision and the needs of the client shaped the design. Each detail was carefully considered, bringing together what was discovered through research with what simply felt right.

The result is Modest. A bed, in essence.
